High Quality Inclusion: What Does it Look Like? How Do We Do It?
The National Early Childhood TA Center (NECTAC) and the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute welcome you to the 2012 National Early Childhood Inclusion Institute, which is the premier event for people from multiple sectors to come together to learn, share and problem-solve about inclusion for young children.
The agenda is planned for those who come ever year and for those who are new to the Institute.
Institute Goals
- To learn about research findings, models and resources to guide inclusive policy, professional development and practice for young children 0-8
- To develop better collaborative relationships and cross-agency systems to support early childhood inclusion
- To have the opportunity to meet, learn from and problem solve with peers
Highlights of the 2012 Institute include a keynote panel of federal policy leaders from Offices of Child Care, Head Start and Office of Special Education Program (OSEP) talking about new national early childhood initiatives that supports inclusion, and multiple concurrent sessions.
