Dr. Catherine Corr is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Special Education. Dr. Corr’s research focuses on the wellbeing of young children with disabilities and their families who are experiencing poverty, toxic stress, and trauma. She has published and presented extensively on these topics. Additionally, she has had many opportunities to work across disciplines at the local, state, and national levels to support vulnerable and underserved young children in varied early childhood contexts. She chaired the development team for the Council for Exceptional Children’s position statement on child maltreatment.
