In this hybrid session, participants will view an online learning module that outlines the basics for best practices related to remote instruction of children in inclusive preschool settings. Then, participants will have the opportunity to join in a guided discussion with the authors and other learners. Topics covered in the module and subsequent discussion will include the role of teachers and families in remote learning environments; how educators might blend coaching, instruction, and assessment into families’ existing routines and environment; and how teachers can serve as effective coaches to families who are scaffolding children’s learning on a daily basis. Participants will also have time during the guided discussion to ask questions and problem solve the with authors and other learners.
