A challenge for our field is how to authentically and intentionally infuse new evidence and practices in our work to support children and families, particularly those with or at risk for developmental delays or disabilities. This includes knowing and using equitable, anti-bias resources and practices that promote ongoing reflection and consideration of the child and family’s race, ethnicity, culture, language, and life circumstances. This session will provide an opportunity to learn about and practice making these shifts with new content, tools, and instructional practices. Presenters will share examples for both seated and virtual professional development, with particular attention paid to virtual approaches. Participants will be provided ongoing access to free, high-quality resources.
